We don’t have totals numbers in from all the developers, but I will post final totals as soon as possible. Along with the list of charities that received assistance from Project iPhone Haitian Relief.
Also, I would like to apologize to anyone who did not receive a email reply, things have been very busy.

A brilliant little iPhone/Android App created by Intridia for Crisis Commons as part of Crisis Camp DC, this free app can be used On-The-Ground in Haiti to translate words and phrases from English to Creole and back again.
I have installed this App on my phone and it is a perfect example of what the development community can come together to create in a very short window to help wherever they can.

Hat tip to Aileen Markowsky for sending this in:
We have heard of iPhones helping people get rescued but this is just incredible. He apparently used Pocket First Aid & CPR on his iPhone to diagnose and treat his own wounds while trapped in the rubble. MSNBC has a good summary of the story as well as interview clips.

Project Ushadidi has built a mapping tool that allows people to keep informed on situations in Haiti in real-time. According to the BBC News:
“I don’t know how, but most of the network infrastructure survived,” said Reynold Guerrier, a network engineer at the Haitian Association for the Development of Information and Communication Technology (AHTIC).

Crisis Map of Haiti represents the most comprehensive and up-to-date crisis map available to the humanitarian community. The information here is mapped in near real time and gathered from reports coming from inside Haiti via many sources including Twitter

Seth Raphael, the man, the magician, the legend and the iPhone developer has pledged his support.
With a Bachelors in Magic and Technology and a Masters in Wonder from MIT, Seth Raphael is doing what he loves, and blowing people’s minds.
His childhood passion of magic had to compete with his love of computers. At times one threatened to eclipse the other as he alternatively wrote off magic as foolish, and technology as soul-less.
At last he reconciled his two obsessions, creating a cutting-edge form of entertainment.
His latest iPhone app Love Bottle is magical!
